Attila Bucsi impressed by winning the first TCR Eastern Europe race of the weekend at Brno on his debut, beating experienced racers Mat’o Homola and Bartosz Groszek. What did he say after the success?
“To be honest, my start was pretty bad, and I lost first place and then another one. Although I had a few slight contacts with Bartosz Groszek and Adam Kout, but the car worked great, and I was able to move up to second and began to catch Maťo Homola. My tires were kind of fine throughout the race. I tried to be careful with them all the time and managed to pass Maťo in the middle of the race. I must say I’m extremely happy with the results. It couldn’t be better. But there is still one race left tomorrow, so let’s see how it will be as I’m going to start from ninth place.”
