Dusan Borkovic was born on September 16, 1984 in Serbia. He started his karting career in 1994. He became the Yugoslavian karting champion six years in a row. After karting for six years, Borkovic made his autoracing debut in 2002 in the Serbian National-Class. He won the championship from 2005 to 2008.

Borkovic switched to Hill Climb in 2010 and won the Serbian Hill Climb Championship is his first season. The following season he switched to the European Hill Climb Championship and won it in 2012, which was his first significant international success.

After winning that championship, Borkovic switched to the European Touring Car Cup. In his debut season he took the third place behind Maťo Homola and Petr Fulín, who became the champion. In the following year Borkovic made his debut in WTCC and delivered his first ever podium in Japan.

In 2015 Borkovic only drove the first round in Argentina before withdrawing from the WTCC, because his team was not able to cater for his height. Considering problems with the sitting position, the Serbian driver decided to transfer to ETCC again. There he became the champion at the end of the season.

Since that time he has been competing in the brandnew TCR championships, taking part in the Inrternational Series and the European Cup. In 2020 he joined to M1RA for the TCR Eastern Europe campaign.
